Find the deeper ankle groove
Use the opposite inner ankle. Search the groove between the inner Achilles tendon and the lower leg bone. You can also check the front-inner ankle for tender spots.

Find the deeper ankle groove
Use the opposite inner ankle. Search the groove between the inner Achilles tendon and the lower leg bone. You can also check the front-inner ankle for tender spots.

Press from the inner Achilles side
Use your thumb to press slowly from the inner Achilles border toward the bone gap. Hold for 60–90 seconds.

Move the shoulder while pressing
While holding pressure, perform the shoulder movement that is most limited. If pain improves, move to the front-inner ankle and press for another 30–60 seconds.
