How to use a guide

Find the responsive point, then move and retest.

Each guide has four fixed parts: the side, the pressure region, the responsive point, and the movement used to retest it.

  1. 01

    Match the correct side

Follow the side shown in the guide. Many routines use the opposite side: right-side pain, left-side pressure; left-side pain, right-side pressure. Some routines use the same side, so the page image always takes priority.

  2. 02

    Search inside the marked area

Move slowly through the pictured region instead of pressing one guessed point. The useful point is the spot with the clearest local response.

  3. 03

    Recognize the point response

A local sore, tingling, full, or tender feeling under pressure is expected. It helps confirm that you found the responsive point inside the marked area.

  4. 04

    Press while moving

Keep steady pressure or massage that exact point while repeating the movement named in the guide. Most rounds use 30–90 seconds.

  5. 05

    Release, retest, and repeat

Compare the same movement after releasing pressure. If needed, search nearby and repeat the number of rounds shown on the page.

A short boundary

Do not press broken skin or a fresh injury.
