What this site collects

AcuRelief does not offer accounts, accept comments, or operate a contact form. If you email the editorial address, your email provider and ours process the address, message, and technical delivery information you choose to send.

Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may process ordinary request data such as IP address, browser and device details, requested page, time, and security signals. We use that service to deliver and protect the site.

Google advertising technology

The site loads Google AdSense account-verification code. If advertising is approved and enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, local storage, IP addresses, or similar technology to deliver, measure, and protect ads. Ads are not currently a medical endorsement.

Analytics, sale, and sensitive information

Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled for aggregated traffic and page-performance measurement, including page views, visits, referrers, broad device and country information, and Core Web Vitals. Cloudflare states that this analytics product does not use cookies or local storage and does not track people over time by IP address, user agent, or another immutable identifier. We do not use Google Analytics, sell personal information, or ask for health records. Please do not email diagnoses, test results, insurance details, or other sensitive medical information.

Links and retention

Links to YouTube, MedlinePlus, NCCIH, and other sites are governed by those sites’ policies. Server-log and email retention is limited by the settings and legitimate security, delivery, legal, and editorial needs of the relevant providers.

Your choices

You can block or clear cookies in your browser, change Google ad settings, or email us about a privacy request. Applicable U.S. state law may give you access, correction, deletion, or opt-out rights. We will verify and handle a valid request as the law requires.

Children and changes

The site is intended for adults, including adult caregivers, and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy when the site or its providers change; the effective date above will change with it.
